paws ("paws", "we", "us") is operated by Internet Companies, Inc. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using paws at pawshealth.co, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and a password (stored encrypted; we never see it in plain text).
- Pet profile: the details you enter about your pet (name, species, breed, age, weight, diet, activity, and any concerns you share).
- Chat messages: the messages you send to paws and its replies, so the conversation works and continues.
- Billing: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card number; Stripe does. We keep a customer reference and your subscription status.
How we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, remember your pet, and answer your questions.
- To provide AI responses tailored to your pet.
- To manage your subscription and access.
- To improve the product and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with (service providers)
- Supabase — stores your account, pet profile, and chat, and runs our secure backend.
- Stripe — processes payments and subscriptions.
- Google (Gemini) — generates the AI responses. Your pet profile and messages are sent to Google to produce replies.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your data — email us and we'll help.
- Cancel your subscription anytime from your account or by contacting us.
Not medical or veterinary advice
paws is a general wellness companion, not a veterinarian. It does not diagnose conditions or replace professional veterinary care. For anything urgent or concerning about your pet, contact a licensed vet.
Children
paws is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
